Rain, Rain and More Rain ...Semifinals & Finals Set for Sunday
Showers rained on Sunrise postponing almost the entire schedule of matches scheduled on Saturday.
Rains pushed back the scheduled start of the day's opening match, the doubles semifinal featuring Filip Polasek (SVK) and Sergiy Stakhovsky (UKR) against Eric Butorac (USA) and Bobby Reynolds (USA). Set for Noon, the teams didn't take the court until 1:30pm. Ten minutes into the match the rain returned creating the first of three rain delays. The match started and stopped two more times before coming off the court for good at 5:45pm. When the day's action was called, Butorac and Reynolds were up 7-5, 6-6 (4-5). The match will resume at 11:00am on Sunday with Butorac and Reynolds serving.
